0895 Series Littelfuse Car Cartridge Fuses for car fuse box Rated 58V
The Low Profile JCASE fuse has similar performance characteristics as the standard JCASE fuse. The lower overall height reduction allows for more space and weight savings and allows for a shorter male blade terminal, saving additional weight and material savings in fuse box designs.

Why do car fuses blow?
At present, there are two situations that will cause the vehicle fuse to blow:
1. Overloads
Excessive load of electrical appliances, generally occurs in:
◆ Too many devices are connected to one branch.
◆ Because of the equipment failure, a device has withstood more than the standard current, usually in the range of one to six times normal current. Sustained overloads eventually overheat circuit components.
2. Short circuit
Short circuit means that a circuit or part of a circuit is short circuited. If both ends of the load and the power supply are connected by wires, it is called short circuit. The current of a short circuit generally exceeds 600% of the rated current. Short circuit generally occurs in:
◆ Collision and damage to the harness will result in a direct path from the power supply to the ground.
◆ Degraded wire insulation can cause this phenomenon.
How to replace a blown blade fuse?
It is very common to blow fuses while driving, especially the blade fuses. After the fuse is blown, it can be replaced if it is removed. For example, if the fuse of a car cigarette lighter is blown, the replacement steps are as follows:
1. Turn off the vehicle and turn off all power supplies. If it is a mechanical key, pull it out.
2. Open the fuse box upper cover, check the fuse map, look for the sign of the on-board cigarette lighter on the cover, and then look for the fuse of the car cigarette lighter in the fuse box.
3. Check whether the corresponding fuse is damaged with light and replace it if it is blown.
4. Remove and replace the blown fuse: when removing and replacing the fuse blade, it is not necessary to remove the fuse wire. There is a small clip in the fuse box, that is, the blade puller. The fuse wire must be removed with the blade puller.
5. Only vehicle fuses with the same current intensity (expressed in the same color and the same printed text) and the same size can be used for replacement.
6. If the replacement is completed and the corresponding components still do not work, they should be sent for repair in time.
